NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC)

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is fully funded care for individuals with severe and ongoing health needs. Eligibility is determined through an NHS assessment, ensuring the right level of support is provided.

Somerset Local Authority Support

For those not eligible for CHC, Somerset Local Authority may offer financial assistance based on a means-tested assessment. If eligible, the local authority may contribute towards care costs.

Hamilton Park’s Approach

We work closely with both NHS Continuing Healthcare and Somerset Local Authority to help residents navigate funding options. Our team provides clear guidance on eligibility and assists in accessing the financial support available.

Privately Funded Care

For residents not eligible for government or NHS funding, Hamilton Park welcomes privately funded individuals. Self-funding allows for greater flexibility in choosing care services that best fit personal needs. Our team is always available to offer guidance and support, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process while delivering high-quality, personalised care.
